Hi,
I am using Joomla 5. I create a custom search module and place it at "below-top" position. When a user search a term, this search url is called, it will dynamically calculate a new url to be redirect to.
In the module "Advanced" setting, I set "Caching" to "No caching". I also set "Cache Time" to 0, 1, 2, etc. However, when a keyword has been searched previously, a 2nd search will no long call the custom search module's url. It will simply automatically redirect to the previously searched url. I need to re-calculate the new url to be redirected to.
The search module is never called for 2nd search on the same keyword. Even when I delete the search php file, it just redirects to the previous url without complaint. Only when a keyword that has never been searched previously will invoke the search module.
Can someone give a light on this cache issue? Both Chrome and firefox have the same issue.
Thank you.
